Caroline Elizabeth Daley

     Caroline Elizabeth Daley was born on 10 April 1899 at Saint John West, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.^1,2 She was the daughter of William Henry Daley and Clara J. Hampton.¹ Caroline Elizabeth Daley and an unknown person obtained a marriage license on 1 December 1914 at New Brunswick.² She married Roland Guthrie on 4 December 1914 at Charlotte Co, New Brunswick; Roland was aged 21 and Caroline was 15. They were both United Baptist.² Caroline Elizabeth Daley died on 21 January 1950 at Saint John General Hospital, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 50; The death certificate gave her birthdate as 27 April 1899. Her husaband, Roland Guthrie, indicated her father William was erronrously from Nova Scotia. Both Roland and Caroline had been living at 203 Rodney Street, West Saint John. Caroline died from congestive heart failure.³ She was buried on 23 January 1950 at Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick.³
