     Adelaide of Anjou was born circa 947.1 She was the daughter of Fulk II and Gerberge du Maine. Adelaide of Anjou married Raymond Duke of Gothia circa 975.2 Adelaide of Anjou married Louis V of France in 982 at Briode; Louis was fifteen years old and Adelaide was thirty-three and on her third marriage—and they had no children together. She soon divorced him and fled his house in 984 to Arles.3 Adelaide of Anjou married William I of Provence in 984.1 Adelaide of Anjou married Otto-William Count of Burgundy, son of Adalbert King of Italy and Gerberge.1 Adelaide of Anjou died in 1026.1
