     William Winchester was born on 9 April 1793 at Massachusetts; His gravestone photo indicates he was born 9 Apr 1799, rather than 1793 following the transcription on Interment.net.2,1 He married Phebe Salls, daughter of Hix Salls and Mary Briggs, on 13 April 1820 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3,1 William Winchester died on 12 November 1893 at Georgetown, Ottawa Co, Michigan, at age 100.1 He was buried at Georgetown Township Cemetery, Hudsonville, Ottawa Co, Michigan.2
