Deborah Covey was born circa 1790 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. She was the daughter of Samuel Covey and Anna Susannah Mitchell. Deborah Covey married Jeremiah Gibbs circa 1802. Deborah Covey died after 1851; In 1851, Deborah was living with her daughter Melvina and her husband, William Wheeler in Russeltown, Quebec.
