     Thomas Wood was born circa 1633 at perhaps Nuneaton, Warwick Co, England.1 He was the son of Edward Wood and Ruth Lee. Thomas Wood married Ann Hunt, daughter of Enos Hunt and Elizabeth Best, on 7 June 1654 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts; Thomas Wood was a carpenter as early as 14 Dec 1655 when he was paid by the estate of Hugh Smith for the making of a coffin. He also appeared in Rowley records as one of six men engaged by the town to build a pen to capture wolves.1 Thomas Wood died in September 1687 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1 He was buried on 12 September 1687 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1 His estate was probated on 7 November 1687 at Suffolk Co, Massachusetts; Thomas appointed as executors his wife Ann and his son, Thomas.1
     He left a will on 21 July 1687 at Suffolk Co, Massachusetts; His will was long and detailed but proved he was son of Edward Wood in mentioning his brother Obadiah of Ipswich.1
