4 Ann Covey was also known as Nancy Covey. Karen Thomas has family documents that indicate: "Nancy Lydia Jane (Jennie) Covey, the daughter of Alfred Melville Covey and Jane Nokes Longeway, said she was raised by a sister of her father after her sisters death in a syrup fire when she was 19. The Aunt was Nancy Covey and she was married to Benjamin Reynolds. The Aunt died when Jennie was about 15; this would be about 1868-69." This writer is now fairly certain that Nancy Covey and Ann Covey were one and the same.
