Samuel Wood

     Samuel Wood was born on 31 May 1692 at Rowley, Essex Co, Massachusetts.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Wood and Mary Hunt.¹ Samuel Wood married Jane (?).³ Samuel Wood died on 25 July 1742 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut, at age 50; His widow, Jane, andd their son, Joseph Wood, declined to serve as executor of his will.³ His estate was probated on 22 September 1742 at Windham Co, Connecticut; The inventory was taken 18 aug 1742, but Samuel Wood, another son, administered the estate.³
     He left a will on 20 July 1742 at Windham Co, Connecticut.³
