     James Hovey was born in 1650 at Ipswich, Essex Co, Massachusetts.3 He was the son of Daniel Hovey and Abigail Andrews.1,2 James Hovey married Priscilla Warner, daughter of John Warner and Priscilla Symonds, on 2 November 1670 at Brookfield, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; Priscilla Warner was of Quaboag, which later later became Brookfield, Massachusetts. James Hovey died on 2 August 1675 at Brookfield, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; James Hovey was killed by Indians along with other townsmen.3
