     Emily Ervin Covey was born circa 1810 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. She was the daughter of Samuel Covey and Anna Susannah Mitchell. Emily Ervin Covey married James Marcus Phillips Jr., son of James Phillips and Margaret Williams, on 29 January 1846 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1 Emily Ervin Covey married John Saxe, son of George Saxe and Rachel LeRoy, on 17 December 1848 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.2 Emily Ervin Covey died on 9 April 1908 at Cowansville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
