Mary Rice

     Mary Rice was born in August 1619 at Stanstead, Suffolk, England; There is an as-yet-unconfirmed report that she married Thomas Axdell and emigrated separately, but nothing about that report gives assurance that Thomas's bride was Edmund's daughter, rather than some other Mary Rice.¹ She was the daughter of Deacon Edmund Rice and Thomasine Frost.¹ Mary Rice was baptized on 18 August 1619 at Stanstead, Suffolk, England.¹ She died before 1638 at England; No record has been found of her in America.¹
