Jacob Young was born on 14 December 1779 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.¹ He was the son of Jacob Young and Catherina Brust. Jacob Young was baptized on 25 December 1779 at Gilead Lutheran Church, Centre Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.² He married Arlotta Covey, daughter of Samuel Covey and Anna Susannah Mitchell, circa 1803. Jacob Young died on 30 November 1869 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 89.³ He was buried on 2 December 1869 at St Thomas' Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.⁴
