     Aenor de Totnes was born circa 1084 at Barnstaple, Devon, England. She was the daughter of Juhel de Totnes.2 Aenor de Totnes married Philip De Braose, son of William De Braose 1st Lord of Bramber and (?) Eve de Boissey; In right of his wife Aenor, Philip acquired a moiety of the feudal barony of Barnstaple, the other moiety of which was held by Henry de Tracy (d.pre-1165), Aenor's brother-in-law.1
