     Alpaida of Aquitaine was born circa 764; Many sources say that Alpaida/Alpais was an illegitimate daughter of Charlemagne. Others say she was an illegitimate daughter of his son, Louis the Pious, but discussion revolves around that her birthdate would be very difficult to belong to Louis.1 She was the daughter of Charlemagne Emperor of the West. Alpaida of Aquitaine married Beggo of Paris, son of Gerard of Paris and Rotrude. Alpaida of Aquitaine died after 852.
