     Sarah M. Cole was born circa 1885 at Greenwood, Oxford Co, Maine.¹ She filed a marriage intention to an unknown person on 10 October 1906 at Paris, Oxford Co, Maine.¹ She married George Melvin Salls, son of Melvin Willard Salls and Elizabeth Kate Allen, on 31 October 1906 at West Paris, Oxford Co, Maine; George was 30 yrs old, and Sarah was 21, both residents of Greenwood. Gave his birthplace as Troy, VT, and hers was Greenwood, Maine. They were married by O.R. Yates, Justice of the Peace of Paris.¹
