Isaac Lewis was born on 20 May 1755 at Windham, Windham Co, Connecticut. He was the son of Timothy Lewis and Sarah Austin. Isaac Lewis married Lydia Loomis, daughter of Dyer Loomis and Sarah Fuller, on 1 April 1779 at Ashfield, Franklin Co, Massachusetts. Isaac Lewis died on 27 August 1837 at Hamilton Co, Ohio, at age 82.
