Timothy Lewis was born on 24 May 1764 at Ashfield, Franklin Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Timothy Lewis and Sarah Austin. Timothy Lewis married Thankful Bradley, daughter of Stephen Bradley and Ruth Meigs, on 3 May 1783. Timothy Lewis died on 2 June 1858 at Belvidere, Boone Co, Illinois, at age 94.
