     Martha Bennett Bullock was born on 14 August 1803 at New Brunswick.1 She was the daughter of James Bullock and Patience Hammond. Martha Bennett Bullock married James Gilbert Lester on 24 July 1821 at St Luke's (Grace) Church, Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; They were married by Rev. Robert Willis, Martha was mentioned as first daughter of the late James Bullock, Magaguadavick, Charlotte Co.2,3,1 Martha Bennett Bullock died on 29 October 1875 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick, at age 72.4 She was buried on 2 November 1875 at Saint John, Saint John Co, New Brunswick; The funeral was held at her residence at 68 Charlotte Street at 3 o'clock.4
