George F. Patterson was born on 18 September 1867 at Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont; While George F. and his brother Frank were twins, the birth records were registered in two different places. And, while Frank's lists his father's birth as Swanton, George's says Canada.1 He was the son of John N. Patterson and Clarissa Jane Eaton.1
