     Peter Hoose was born on 29 December 1822 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of John Hoose and Nancy Patterson.2 Peter Hoose was baptized on 30 April 1841 at Russelltown Methodist Church, Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 He married Elizabeth (?) before 1850.3 Peter Hoose married Sarah A. Chapman on 25 December 1853 at Malone, Franklin Co, New York.4 Peter Hoose died on 8 December 1892 at Duane, Franklin Co, New York, at age 69.5 He was buried at Hoose Cemetery, Duane, Franklin Co, New York.5
     He appeared on the census of 3 September 1850 at Franklin, Franklin Co, New York; Peter Hoose, 28, wife Betsy, 22, and John Patterson, 15.3
