Ellen Payne married Rowland Calkins, son of Hugh Calkins and Elizabeth (?), on 23 June 1597 at St Oswald, Chester, Cheshire, England.¹ Ellen Payne died in August 1605 at Waverton, Cheshire, England; Ellen died five days following the baptism of her son, Peter. It is unlikely he survived.¹ She was buried on 23 August 1605.
