Samuel Slader Jr. was born circa 1732. He was the son of Samuel Salder and Mary Wilder. Samuel Slader Jr. was baptized on 4 June 1732 at Hingham, Plymouth Co, Massachusetts. He married Mehitable Lewis, daughter of John Lewis Jr. and Mary/Mercy Hopkins, on 25 December 1754 at Windham, Windham Co, Connecticut.
