John Lewis was born on 1 January 1666 at Barnstable, Barnstable Co, Massachusetts. He was the son of Edward Lewis and Hannah Cobb. John Lewis married Elizabeth Huckins, daughter of John Huckins and Hope Chipman, on 4 June 1695. John Lewis died on 8 March 1738 at age 72.
