     George Sheldon was born in September 1822 at England.1 He married Lucinda Colton, daughter of Daniel Colton and Hannah Salls.1 George Sheldon died on 7 January 1855 at Rouse's Point, Clinton Co, New York, at age 32.1 He was buried on 9 January 1855 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2
