Nicholas
Longeway was born on 26 September 1785 at
Chambly, Chambly Co, Quebec.
1 He was the son of
Remie Longeway and
Marie Geneviève Raimond. Nicholas Longeway was baptized on 27 September 1785 at
St Joseph's, Chambly, Chambly Co, Quebec; The baptism for Nicholas Longeway took place at Chambly, and was written as Nicolas Baudineau. At the baptism of his daughter, Jane, in 1815, he was referred to as Nicholas Budnow.
1 He married
Hannah Rowe, daughter of
John N. Rowe and
Lucretia Kyzer, circa 1810. Nicholas Longeway died on 20 July 1863 at
Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 77.
2 He was buried on 22 July 1863; Present: Augustus Longeway his brother, and G.H. Longeway.
