Daniel Squires was born on 5 April 1756 at Ashford, Connecticut. He was the son of Daniel Squires and Ellis Scott. Daniel Squires married Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Nehemiah Wood and Elizabeth Hovey, on 5 June 1777 at Mansfield, Tolland Co, Connecticut.1 Daniel Squires died on 28 January 1828 at Salem, Washington Co, New York, at age 71.
