Nathan Salls was born circa 1851 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Isaac Salls Jr. and Mary Melissa Derick. Nathan Salls married Mary Jane Frost, daughter of John Frost and Angeline Tifft, on 15 August 1884 at Manchester, Bennington Co, Vermont; Nathan Salls was aged 33 and Mary J. was 16.1 Nathan Salls and Mary Jane Frost were divorced on 8 June 1906 at Vermont; There is a John Stone, born 1887, died 1918 buried with Mary and her 2nd husband Allen Hosley.2
