     Lydia Ann Douglas was born on 19 May 1837 at Lacolle, Iberville Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Reuben Douglas and Mary Ann Young.1 Lydia Ann Douglas was baptized on 19 February 1841 at Odelltown Methodist, Odelltown, Iberville Co, Quebec; The baptism noted the father could not write, so Rev. Thomas Turner, wrote it for him.1 She married James W. Shaver.2 Lydia Ann Douglas died on 24 May 1919 at Chicago, Cook Co, Illinois, at age 82.3 She was buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, Cook Co, Illinois.4
