     Robert Mitchell Thompson was born on 10 July 1871 at Derby, Orleans Co, Vermont.2 He married Nellie Adelaide Williams, daughter of Herbert Smith Williams and Mary Mahalia Young, in 1909 at McHenry Co, Illinois.1 Robert Mitchell Thompson died on 27 May 1955 at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co, Minnesota, at age 83.3 He was buried at Mt Auburn Cemetery, Harvard, Mchenry Co, Illinois.4
