     Timothy Cass Ellithorpe was born on 12 October 1847 at Burlington, Kane Co, Illinois.1 He was the son of Timothy Chapman Ellithorpe and Emily Bridget Salls. Timothy Cass Ellithorpe married Isabel Mitchell before 1870.2 Timothy Cass Ellithorpe died on 5 July 1935 at Burlington, Kane Co, Illinois, at age 87.3,4
     T. Cass Ellithorpe lived within three miles of Virgil Station on the Sycamore and St. Charles Road. He had a model farm of 50 acres, and raised grain, corn, oats and barley as well as producing dairy products from his cows. He was a Republican, as his father was.2
