     Prudence Anne Wait was born on 25 December 1817 at New Lebanon, Columbia Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of Alva Wait and Elsie (?).1 Prudence Anne Wait married Brice Shepherd circa 1856.1 Prudence Anne Wait died on 27 October 1909 at Rochester, Fulton Co, Indiana, at age 91.1 She was buried at Rochester IOOF Cemetery, Rochester, Fulton Co, Indiana.1
