Matthew Howard Sr was born on 15 March 1661/62 at Boston, Suffok Co, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Edward Howard Effingham and Esther Hannah Hawkins. Matthew Howard Sr married Mary Case, daughter of James Case, circa 1687/88 at Little Compton, Newport Co, Rhode Island.1 Matthew Howard Sr died after 1728 at near Dartmouth, Bristol Co, Massachusetts.1
