Benjamin Reynolds Covey was born on 25 February 1844 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1,2 He was the son of Alfred Melville Covey and Jane Nokes Longeway. Benjamin Reynolds Covey was baptized on 25 October 1847 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Martha E. Perry on 13 April 1864 at Stanbridge Adventist Church, Stanbridge, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. Benjamin Reynolds Covey married Hannah Cook, daughter of Simeon Cook and Nancy Morgan, on 30 April 1874 at Cambridge, Lamoille Co, Vermont; Benjamin was listed as 30 yrs old and his 1st marriage, listed as of Stanbridge. It would have been his 2nd marriage. He was a cheese manufacturer.3 Benjamin Reynolds Covey died on 17 February 1915 at Hartford, Windsor Co, Vermont, at age 70.2,4 He was buried in 1915 at Mountain View Cemetery, Cambridge, Lamoille Co, Vermont.4
He appeared on the census of 1880 at Richmond, Chittenden Co, Vermont; Benjiman Covey, 36, cheesemaker, b. VT, Hannah 30, Mary 12, Harmon, 10 mos, sister-in-law Isabella, 36, b. Canada, nephew Henry, 4, and nieces Cora, 3 and Mary 1, all b. NY.5 He appeared on the census of 25 April 1910 at Tilton, Belknap Co, New Hampshire; "Benjiman" Covey, father, 66, b. VT was living with his son Harmon Covey, 30 and wife Sarah J., 32.6
