Charlotte R. Scott was born on 14 April 1939.1 She was the daughter of Silas Scott and Mildred Ruby Bean.1 Charlotte R. Scott married Dean G. Powers Sr on 23 April 1950.1 Charlotte R. Scott died on 19 November 2013 at Vermont at age 74; Charlotte R. Scott Powers, 74, of Derby, beloved wife of Dean Powers Sr., died on November 19, 2013.
Mrs. Powers was born on April 14, 1939, a daughter of Silas Sr. and Mildred Bean Scott.
On April 23, 1950, she married Dean Powers Sr.
She is survived by her children: Dean Powers Jr. and his wife, Brenda, Larry Powers and his wife, Sandy, and Jennifer Powers Allen and her husband, Dan; and by her grandchildren: Hailey, Anthony and Riley. She is also survived by her sisters: Annabelle S. Dreher of Florida, Margaret S. Barnes of Florida, and Birdena Collins and her husband, Raymond Sr; her brother-in-law Larry Dopp and his wife, Caroline; her husband's brothers and their wives; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who loved Charlotte. She will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her parents; and by the following brothers and sisters: Walter, Alice, George Sr. and Lura Simpson, Shirley S. Kocis, Silas Jr. and Betty Calloway, Margaret S. Barnes and Don, Goldie-Mildred S. Collins, Wilma S. Dopp and Maxine S. Cory.
Funeral services were held on November 22, at the Derby Center Cemetery in Derby.1
