Ephraim Smith

     Ephraim Smith was born on 30 January 1698 at Boxford, Essex Co, Massachusetts; Note: He stated in his Will dated 1788 that he was in his 82nd yr.¹ He was the son of Ephraim Smith and Mary Ramsdell.¹ Ephraim Smith married Mary Perkins on 30 December 1725 at Wenham, Essex Co, Massachusetts.¹ Ephraim Smith married Hannah Rice, daughter of Daniel Rice and Elizabeth Taylor, on 16 August 1733 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.^2,3 Ephraim Smith died before 1786 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; His widow and children deeded land which had bought in Shrewsbury from his brother Nathan to his son Daniel's son, Lewis in 1786.¹
