Richard Fitzalan was born circa 1306 at Arundel, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Edmund Fitzalan and Alice de Warren. Richard Fitzalan married Eleanor Plantagenet, daughter of Henry Plantagenet and Maud Chaworth, on 5 February 1344 at Ditton, Buckinghamshire, England; The couple was married in the presence of King Richard III, by Papal dispensation as they were related in the 3rd and 4th degrees of kindred.1 Richard Fitzalan died on 24 January 1375 at Arundel, Sussex, England.1
