     Elizabeth Smith was born on 17 February 1748 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Ephraim Smith and Hannah Rice. Elizabeth Smith married Thomas Johnson, son of Zebediah Johnson and Esther (?), on 24 September 1771 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.2
