Henry Loker

     Henry Loker was born circa 1576 at Suffolk, England; Henry was a member of the Riddlesdale alias Loker family of Bures St. Mary, Suffolk. For about four generations the family used either a version of the surname Riddlesdale, or a variation of Loker. Riddlesdale was favored in the early generations, but he prefered Lokar. Henry lived in the southern part of the parish of Bures St. Mary which is in Essex. Apparently in his lifetime, he dropped the surname Riddlesdale and began regularly using the alias Loker insetad. He was the son of Robert Riddlesdale and Lucy (?). Henry Loker was baptized between 7 February 1576 and 1577 at Bures St Mary, Suffolk, England. He married Elizabeth (?). Henry Loker died in February 1630/31. He was buried on 25 February 1630/31 at Bures St Mary, Suffolk, England.
