George Finley Milne

     George Finley Milne was born on 30 September 1869 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. He was the son of James Milne. George Finley Milne married Margaret Bigham, daughter of James Bigham and Margaret Thompson.¹ George Finley Milne died on 3 February 1937 at 432 Maple Avenue, Jenkintown, Montgomery Co, Pennsylvania, at age 67; The death certificate indicates he died at his home as a result of burns from a fire there. He had lived there about 45 years.² He was buried on 6 February 1937 at Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania.²
     He immigrated on 6 January 1888 to Philadelpia, Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania.
