Nancy Jane Covey was born on 11 December 1836 at Caldwell's Manor, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec. She was the daughter of Walter Covey and Mary Tryon. Nancy Jane Covey was baptized on 11 September 1838 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand Methodist Church. She died on 21 July 1852 at age 15. She was buried at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St George's Anglican Cemetery.
