Asa J. Wilson

     Asa J. Wilson was born circa 1838 at Vermont.¹ He was the son of Asa Wilson and Sophronia Corey. Asa J. Wilson married Nancy Tryon, daughter of William Tryon and Sarah Scott, circa 1858. Asa J. Wilson died on 26 December 1904 at Brushton, Franklin Co, New York; Asa died of heart failure following "a shock of paralysis", at about 67 years old.² He was buried at Sunnyside Cemetery, Gale Road, Brushton, Franklin Co, New York.
     He and Nancy Tryon appeared on the census of 8 July 1870 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York; Asa Wilson, 32, born Canada; Nancy, 39, Georgetta, 11, Ida, 9, Adalade, 7, Emma, 5, Florence, 3, and Abbie, 1, all born New York.³ Asa J. Wilson and Nancy Tryon appeared on the census of 12 June 1880 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York; Ada J. Wilson, 42, b. Vermont; Nancy, 50, Georgietta, 21, Emogene, 17 and Florence, 15, all born in New York.¹
