Charles Young was born on 28 February 1859 at Moira, Franklin Co, New York. He was the son of Alexander Young and Sally Pierce. Charles Young married Adelaide Wilson, daughter of Asa J. Wilson and Nancy Tryon, on 5 September 1883. Charles Young died on 14 July 1891 at age 32; died "from consumption of the lungs."
