Tryon was born on 2 April 1833 at
Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of
Timothy Tryon and
Mary M. Longeway. Julia S. Tryon married
William Blackmore, son of
Benjamin Blackmore and
Mary Wyllys. Julia S. Tryon died on 27 March 1916 at
Chateaugay, Franklin Co, New York, at age 82; From the Chateaugay Record, 27 Mar 1916: "Mrs. Julia Blackmore passed away at an early hour Monday morning. The deceased was born in Clarenceville, PQ 2 Apr 1833, her maiden name being that of Julia Tryon. She was united in marriage to William Blackmore of Chateaugay and took up residence about 2 miles NW of the village. Mr. Blackmore died about 24 years ago. Buried Greenlawn Cemetery." She was buried at
Smith Cemetery, Chateaugay, Franklin Co, New York.
