     Frederick Young was born on 8 January 1806 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Jacob Young and Arlotta Covey. Frederick Young married Mary Iby, daughter of John Teal Iby and Catherine (?), on 8 November 1825 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.1 Frederick Young married Aldice Adelia Priest on 10 March 1843 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, by Rev. David Gibbs; Frederick was noted to be a widower.2 Frederick Young died on 6 January 1859 at Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec, at age 52.3 He was buried on 9 January 1859 at Franklin Centre Cemetery, Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec; He was noted as a tavernkeeper and aged "53 years, lacking 2 days".4
