     Jacob Young was born on 16 February 1811 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Jacob Young and Arlotta Covey. Jacob Young was baptized on 15 March 1811 at Christie's Manor, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Patty M. Beerwort on 5 February 1838. Jacob Young married Eliza Almira Sowles on 2 November 1850 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.2 Jacob Young died on 22 May 1884 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont, at age 73.3,4 He was buried at Alburgh Centre Cemetery, Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.5
