Margaret Derby married Samuel Young, son of Jacob Young and Arlotta Covey, on 30 January 1831 at Odelltown, Iberville Co, Quebec. Margaret Derby died on 17 October 1874 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 72.^1,2 She was buried on 19 October 1874 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹
