     Dana Newton was born on 4 June 1782 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.1 He filed a marriage intention to an unknown person on 7 August 1802 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.2 He married Miriam Smith, daughter of Moses Smith and Lydia Smith, on 24 August 1802 at Barre, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.3,4 Dana Newton died on 31 October 1835 at Shrewsbury, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, at age 53.5
