     Laura Derick was born on 25 June 1824 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Derick and Candace Patterson. Laura Derick was baptized on 11 February 1826 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Philip Hank Derick, son of Henrich Derick and Anna Maria Young, on 2 April 1845 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Witnesses were Henry Derick, George Hislop and Mary E. Young.3 Laura Derick died on 30 August 1907 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 83.4 She was buried on 1 September 1907 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.4
