     Sarah Derick was born on 23 October 1826 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Jacob Derick and Candace Patterson. Sarah Derick was baptized on 20 January 1827 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St George's Anglican Church. She married George Phillips before 1845.
