     Mary Jane Derick was born on 28 April 1834 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Derick and Candace Patterson. Mary Jane Derick was baptized on 26 August 1838 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married George Rowe Longeway, son of Nicholas Longeway and Hannah Rowe, on 21 October 1861 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 Mary Jane Derick died on 17 July 1908 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 74.3 She was buried on 19 July 1908 at Dunham Methodist Cemtery, Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
