     Lloyd Grant Derick was born on 2 March 1879 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1,2,3 He was the son of John Nelson Derick and Helen Frances Young. Lloyd Grant Derick was baptized on 21 September 1879 at Clarenceville Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.4 He died in August 1968 at Springfield, Hampton Co, Massachusetts, at age 89.5
     In 1942, when Lloyd registered for the drafy, he was living at 630 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts.
He was employed by George Vaughn at the Plumtree Food Shop on Plumtree Road in Springfield.3
